The geeks are all right. The word “geek” used to mean a young person who was way too into computers, says Andrew McAfee, Massachusetts Institute of Technology research scientist focusing on digital technology. Now, it means someone who’s not afraid of taking unconventional approaches to hard problems. It’s also, he argues, the key to efficiently running a company in a tech-rich environment.
