Big moves in AI: what your business should be watching

 Hi MD Abul,

A few stories caught my eye this week, because they're not just about tech, they’re about how AI is reshaping real enterprise priorities. It’s a reminder that transformation isn’t optional anymore; it’s mandatory.

Palantir goes “Warp Speed” in defense

Palantir’s stock is surging, driven by its “Warp Speed for Warships” program, a partnership with the BlueForge Alliance to scale AI-powered manufacturing in naval shipbuilding. They’re also teaming up with Accenture Federal Services to embed AI into government operations.
It’s a clear example of AI evolving from pilot to full-scale operational backbone.

Takeaway: When AI powers mission-critical processes, not just insights, it starts reshaping how entire industries (and government functions) operate.

Capgemini doubles down on AI

Capgemini just struck a $3.3 billion deal to acquire WNS Global Services, betting big on generative AI to transform business process services. The goal? Build systems that don’t just support operations, they redefine them.

Takeaway: Enterprise AI isn’t incremental, it’s systemic. The winners will be those using it to reinvent internal service delivery, not simply layer on analytics.

These stories aren’t isolated; they’re signals of a broader shift:

  1. AI is transitioning from “nice to have” to non-negotiable competitive infrastructure.

  2. Leaders now need to design for enterprise-scale adoption, not pockets of innovation.

  3. Integration isn’t optional; alignment, governance, and execution are the new frontline concerns.

That’s exactly the kind of strategic conversation we’re building into Digital Stratosphere this August:

  • How to embed AI into your core operations

  • Best practices for governance, scale, and oversight

  • Private advisory sessions for your toughest cross-functional challenges

Our theme this year is Mission: AI-Possible, and we’d love to see you there.
