Michael Birshan, London

Michael is a senior partner in London and also serves as the managing partner of McKinsey UK, Ireland, and Israel. He is a member of McKinsey’s Shareholders Council, which functions as the firm’s global board of directors. Previously, he was global co-leader of the firm’s Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice and a member of the McKinsey Global Institute Council. He has served companies around the world across a diverse set of industries, as well as institutions in the public and social sectors. His deepest sector expertise is in energy, materials, and industrials.

Kersten Heineke, Frankfurt

Kersten is dedicated to the future of mobility and serves clients in three main areas: the automotive industry, other incumbent industries, and mobility disruptors and investors in new mobility. His focus areas are shared and autonomous mobility, micromobility, urban mobility, and business building around mobility topics. Working with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, mobility providers, technology companies, cities, transport authorities, and financial investors, he specializes in the impact of disruptions on transportation.

María del Mar Martínez, Madrid

María is a core member of the European Banking and Risk & Resilience Practice. She has more than 20 years’ experience advising leading financial institutions in Europe and Latin America on their most complex business challenges. She has advised several institutions on growth programs through high-value customer segment approaches and product innovation in the areas of consumer credit and others. She has also led commercial transformations, including commercial productivity programs, digital sales and distribution strategy, and the derived organizational and change implications for banks.

Kelsey Robinson, Boston

Kelsey partners with executives to integrate digital into all facets of their business and marketing strategies. Drawing on extensive experience in digital marketing, customer relationship management, and customer analytics, she helps clients drive sales performance. In addition, she leads the firm’s culture-and-change management work in North America.
