It’s not easy being a woman in business. Female executives represent just eight percent of CEOs leading Fortune 500 companies. What’s more, in 2021, female-led companies won just two percent of the $330 billion invested in startups by venture capital firms. But because they surmount such great odds to reach the top, female leaders are, by definition, exceptional.
